7/26/2017 - To the residents of Beverly and our many supporters,
It is with our heads held high and our hearts filled with sadness that the Beverly-Edgewater Park Emergency Services Squad announces the closing of our doors, after 70 years of dedicated service to the community. As of the council meeting that took place on July 25th, 2017, the Beverly City Council has made the decision to end our service to the incredible City of Beverly.
We, not only, fought for ourselves but also the community we service through years of set backs and lack of City support. It is perfectly clear, even with our record of service to the community, the Council does not have faith in their community organizations. We would not have made it as far as we have with out our supporters and residents. Thank you to those who founded us, all of those who have rallied behind us, and all of those who have served Beverly with us.
